- Mishti Doi:- This is made with a mixture of thick milk and jaggery and is one of the most well-known deserts in Bengal due to its creamy and delicious flavor. It would always be better when served straight from the refrigerator.
- Rosogolla:- Yet another famous Bengali sweets, a soft round mithai that is dipped in sugar syrup, made out of Chhena. They have got a flavorsome stuffing in the center consisting of dry fruits, cardamom, and saffron.
- Sandesh:- a Bengali sweet that comes in different forms. They are cooked using condensed milk sugar or jaggery and designed in different shapes.
- Rasmalai:- Rasmalai is a prominent sweet in almost all parts of India. In Bengal also ras malai has got a wide significance. It is prepared with small sugary balls that are soaked in malai and cardamom. Their main ingredients are sugar syrup, milk, saffron, pistas, and kheer. These small shaped balls are dipped and baked in simmering milk cream.
- Payesh:- is one of the important sweet that is offered in any auspicious Bengali festival. It is the first meal that is served for an infant at the age of 6 months. It consists of milk, rice, sugar, and ghee with few cardamoms, accompanied with dry fruits and nuts. It is a tasty Bengali desert in the form of a thick creamy layer.
